Plant Identification:

  • Growth form: vigorous, barbed vine that grows up to 6 inches per day
  • Leaf: alternate, pale green, and shaped like an equilateral triangle
  • Flowers: flowers are small, white, and generally inconspicuous
  • Fruit: berry like, attractive deep blue fruit arranged in clusters at terminals. Each fruit contains a single reddish-black hard seed
